What is The Roping Company and where did that name come from? 

A mention of The Roping Company's name draws quizzical responses when ropers first hear it.  In the beginning the name was Cory’s idea and Jack wanted another company name because "The Roping Company" seemed too generic.  However Cory’s reasoning won out; "it’s not Jack’s production company or Cory’s production company"...instead, The Roping Company is “the ropers” production company"!  Designed to please the team roper and not the producers.  Well....enough about the name.

How was The Roping Company founded?

The Roping Company is made up of three partners;

1.     Jack Goodman

2.     Cory Johnson

3.     Daylan Frost

 In 2001 Jack and Cory began discussing the possibility of combining their experience and co-producing ropings.  Jack being the family man and a history in producing ropings at AK arena in Gilbert Arizona and Cory who  has never met a stranger in his life and would be voted the "most approachable producer"...if only there were such an award, the only thing missing was Daylan and with a little arm twisting he agreed to their request to fill out the trio.  Having a sharp eye and an even temper and a USTRC handicap (open level) equal to Jacks and Corys combined make Daylan invaluable to the production.
